On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Karnataka to launch the 14th Aero India in Bengaluru, where he met with cinema stars, athletes, and members of the start-up community, according to reports. The Prime Minister informed the actors from the South’s film fraternity that their work had contributed significantly to the country’s culture and identity.

PM Modi also praised the south’s film industry for encouraging female involvement. Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the importance of using ITIs to deliver film-related courses, particularly on the technical side.

During the conversation, he also mentioned late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai presented the late actor with the Karnataka Ratna Award at an event. Puneeth Rajkumar died of a heart attack on October 29, last year. He was 46. He was an actor, playback vocalist, television presenter, and producer known as Appu.

According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the athletes about his government’s continuous initiatives to foster athletic potential, including the National Education Policy (NEP). His conversation with the startup community centred on ways to better help startups and foster an innovation environment in India.
