During his two-day visit to the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Suvendu Adhikari, the head of the opposition in West Bengal, and Sukanta Majumdar, the chief of the BJP state unit.
According to PM Modi, they talked about how to get the word out about their agenda for good administration.
PM Modi wrote on social media on Saturday, showcasing photos from the meeting and writing, “Meeted Dr. Sukanta Majumdar Ji and Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji. We talked about how to get the word out to more people about our agenda for good government. I commend all members of @BJP4Bengal Karyakarta for their bravery, fervor, and energetic resistance to TMC misrule.”
“Together, we all will build a better future for West Bengal,” he wrote in his message.
PM Modi inaugurated and lay the foundation stone for several development projects valued at Rs 15,000 crore in Krishnanagar, West Bengal’s Nadia District, on Saturday, the second day of his tour.
In Krishnanagar, he gave a speech at a rally and conducted a road show.
In the car with the Prime Minister during the roadshow were Sukanta Majumdar and Suvendu Adhikari.
The Prime Minister will launch, dedicate, and lay the cornerstone of several development projects valued at Rs 21,400 crore in Aurangabad, Bihar, at approximately 2:30 pm.
