”This Time the Wind is in Favor of BJP”: PM Modi in Kamareddy rally

In a fervent rally on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence in a transformative shift in Telangana, asserting that the people are disillusioned with the governance of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and that the political winds are now blowing in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).Addressing a crowd with palpable energy, the Prime Minister took a direct swipe at the ruling BRS and the Congress, accusing them of neglecting the Backward Sections and Dalits in the state.

“They are cheaters and make only fake promises. Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee of fulfilling the guarantees. Today, the people from the Backward Class are enthusiastic because the BJP has promised to make a Chief Minister from the Backward Class community in Telangana,” Modi asserted.

Highlighting the BJP’s commitment to its promises, the Prime Minister cited several examples, including the successful abolition of triple talaq, the revocation of Article 370, the implementation of reservation for women, and the fulfillment of One Rank One Pension for soldiers. He also emphasized the completion of the Ram Temple and the establishment of the Turmeric Board in Telangana. “I see a wave of change in Telangana. The people of Telangana are fed up with the 9-year rule of the BRS government and want freedom from it…This time the wind is in favor of BJP,” Modi declared.

Accusing the current administration of leaving every section of society feeling cheated, Modi urged the people to consider the BJP’s track record, emphasizing that the party delivers on its promises. Telangana is slated to go to the polls on November 30, with the election results scheduled to be announced on December 3, alongside four other states. In the 2018 assembly polls, the BRS (formerly TRS) secured 88 out of 119 seats, while the Congress won 19 seats. The upcoming election is now poised as a critical juncture for political realignment in the state.
