PM Modi Joins Swachh Bharat Campaign with Ankit Baiyanpuriya, Famous for 75-Day Fitness Challenge

As the nation came together to participate in a cleanliness drive on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also joined in the Swachh Bharat campaign, adding a unique twist by intertwining cleanliness and fitness.

During this special initiative, Prime Minister Modi met with Ankit Baiyanpuriya, a prominent figure on social media who had embarked on a challenging 75-day fitness journey aimed at instilling a culture of wellness among the youth.

Together, they engaged in a discussion about the synergy between fitness and cleanliness while actively participating in the Swachh Bharat initiative. A video shared by PM Modi on his social media platform provided a glimpse of their interactions.

With an impressive 4.9 million followers on his Instagram profile, Ankit Baiyanpuriya has made a significant impact on social media.

In the video, Prime Minister Modi expressed, “Today, as the nation focuses on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I did the same! Beyond just cleanliness, we blended fitness and well-being also into the mix. It is all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat vibe!”

The video commenced with Prime Minister Modi expressing his willingness to learn from Ankit, stating, “I will learn something from you today.” He inquired about the role of the Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign) in promoting fitness.

Ankit Baiyanpuriya responded by emphasizing the duty of keeping the environment clean, highlighting the direct correlation between a clean environment and personal well-being.

Further into the video, Prime Minister Modi inquired about the awareness regarding cleanliness in Ankit’s hometown in Sonipat. Ankit shared that people have become more conscious and committed to cleanliness in recent times.

Prime Minister Modi reiterated that Swachh Bharat is a collective responsibility shared by all citizens of the country. He emphasized the crucial role of public participation in this endeavor, urging everyone to dedicate an hour on Sundays at 10 am to contribute to cleanliness and help shape a brighter future for the nation.

In the 281-second video, Prime Minister Modi also asked Ankit about the amount of time he dedicates to physical activities. Ankit revealed that he devotes 4-5 hours daily to exercise and expressed his motivation from observing PM Modi’s exercise routine.

Modestly, PM Modi mentioned that he doesn’t engage in extensive exercise but rather focuses on activities essential for his daily routine. He candidly admitted challenges in maintaining discipline in meal timings and obtaining sufficient sleep.

Prime Minister Modi commended Ankit Baiyanpuriya for his influence on the youth through social media. Ankit reciprocated the praise, applauding PM Modi for his support of sports and athletes. He highlighted his own background as a former sportsperson who had to discontinue due to injury and lauded PM Modi’s personal recognition of athletes and initiatives like Fit India and Khelo India.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Modi inquired about Ankit’s 75-day challenge, to which Ankit outlined five rules. These included daily workouts, adequate water intake, reading, maintaining a strict diet, and capturing selfies to document his progress.

According to reports, Ankit Baiyanpuriya embarked on his challenging 75-day journey on June 28, 2023, successfully completing it on September 11, 2023. Throughout this period, he shared daily Instagram videos documenting his experiences and progress.
