Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi on Thursday evening, making his 43rd trip to the region. The prime minister will attend public gatherings, unveil multiple development initiatives valued at Rs 13,000 crore, and showcase the progress made in his parliamentary constituency during his visit. Late last night, Prime Minister Modi announced that he had inspected the recently inaugurated Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara Marg project after arriving in Varanasi. In addition, the prime minister will visit Sant Guru Ravidas Janmasthali, where he will partake in darshan and pooja. After that, he’s going to a celebration honoring Sant Guru Ravidas’ 647th birth anniversary.

Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita winners in Varanasi receive prizes from PM Modi
Sansad Pratiyogita winners received prizes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Banaras Hindu University served as the venue for the prize distribution ceremony. In addition to congratulating each competition winner, the prime minister also sent congratulations to the parents of the winning wards. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath was also in attendance. Parents and students came in large numbers to the event as well. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also introduced two books about Kashi.
“A lot of development has taken place in Kashi in the last 10 years. Two books on complete information about Kashi have also been launched here today,” he said.
“The journey of development that Kashi has undertaken in the last 10 years, every stage of it and the culture here has also been described in this book,” he added.
He went on to say that the younger generation gives Kashi more power. “The Kashi, whose identity is said to be more ancient than time itself, is being duly empowered by the younger generation. On Amrit Kaal, PM Modi remarked, “This scene fills me with pride, satisfies my heart, and gives me hope that the youth will lead this country to greatness.”
