PM Modi visits Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced a spiritually significant visit to Andhra Pradesh by seeking blessings at the famed Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Monday. In a post on ‘X’, PM Modi expressed, “At the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, prayed for the good health, well-being, and prosperity of 140 crore Indians.”

PM Modi’s arrival in Tirupati on Sunday was met with a warm reception by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor S Abdul Nazeer at the Renigunta airport. The Prime Minister Office (PMO) shared the moment on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), highlighting the presence of other dignitaries in the welcoming committee.

Later in the day, PM Modi is set to visit Hyderabad, where he will participate in a road show in the capital city of Telangana. The Hyderabad police have implemented various restrictions and diversions across the city in preparation for PM Modi’s visit and the BJP’s electoral road show.

As the state gears up for polls on November 30, major political parties, including Congress, BJP, and BRS, have intensified their campaign efforts. The last date for campaigning is set for Tuesday, making the final push crucial for all contenders.

Hyderabad will witness restrictions starting at 1 pm until 10 pm, ensuring security and smooth proceedings during the political events.

Looking ahead, PM Modi is scheduled to travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 1, marking his participation in the World Climate Action Summit. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that during his visit, PM Modi will engage in bilateral meetings with leaders participating in the summit. The UAE visit comes at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The World Climate Action Summit, a high-level segment of the 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), is a crucial global event taking place from November 28 to December 12. The UAE holds the Presidency for COP28, and PM Modi’s presence underscores India’s commitment to addressing climate challenges on the global stage.
