PM Modi’s Call: Youth Power to Propel India as Global Manufacturing Hub

In celebration of National Youth Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 27th National Youth Festival at Tapovan Ground in Nashik, Maharashtra. Emphasizing the pivotal role of India’s youth in the country’s development, PM Modi urged young citizens to embrace local products and steer clear of drugs during his address. Commending the youth for their potential to shape history, he encouraged them to engage in activities that would be remembered for generations.

PM Modi expressed his confidence in the strength and spirit of India’s youth, envisioning their efforts hoisting the flag of young India globally. He urged the youth to support locally manufactured products, aiming to make India the world’s manufacturing hub. Acknowledging India’s achievements, he highlighted its position as the world’s fifth-largest economy.

Recalling the contributions of historical figures such as M Visvesvaraya, Major Dhyan Chand, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Batukeshwar Dutt, Mahatma Phule, and Savitri Bai Phule, PM Modi reminded the youth of their responsibilities during the ‘Amrit Kaal.’ He urged them to work towards elevating the nation to new heights.

Quoting Sri Aurobindo and Swami Vivekananda, PM Modi credited the youth power for India’s entry into the top five global economies. He cited India’s achievements in startup ecosystems, record patents, and its emergence as a major manufacturing hub as manifestations of the nation’s youth power.

PM Modi also reiterated his call for cleanliness campaigns and urged citizens to clean pilgrimage places and temples across the country on the occasion of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ day of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22. Expressing his happiness about the response to the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat Sangathan’ portal, he noted that around 1.10 crore youth had registered with the organization within 75 days of its establishment.

During his visit to Nashik, the Prime Minister participated in a roadshow, offered prayers at Shree Kalaram Mandir, and attended the recitation of the Ramayana. He paid floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary and inaugurated multiple development projects worth over Rs 30,500 crores in Maharashtra, including the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari – Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Mumbai, the longest sea bridge in the country.
