Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, and Governor of Jharkhand CP Radhakrishnan, pays homage to Indian tribal activist Birsa Munda at the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Freedom Fighter Museum in Ranchi. The visit marks the celebration of ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,’ an annual tribute to Birsa Munda’s significant role in India’s freedom movement. Additionally, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Ulihatu Village, the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, to lay a floral tribute at his statue. The Prime Minister will participate in a program celebrating the third Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas in Khunti, launching the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and the Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) Mission. The visit also includes the release of the 15th installment of PM-KISAN and the inauguration of multiple development projects in Jharkhand. PM Modi’s commitment to achieving the saturation of government schemes is emphasized, ensuring timely benefits for all targeted beneficiaries.
