Ayodhya is abuzz with preparations as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Speaker Satish Mahana, cabinet ministers, and members of the UP Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, are set to visit the Ram Temple for darshan of Ram Lalla.
The MLAs will arrive in Ayodhya on buses, with the Chief Minister expected to reach the Ram Temple by noon. Visuals from outside the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow depicted BJP leaders chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ before departing for Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.
Expressing his gratitude, BJP MLA Ritesh Gupta from Moradabad considered himself fortunate for the opportunity to have the darshan of Lord Ram Lalla. “I am fortunate to get the opportunity to have the darshan of Lord Ram Lalla. After the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, everyone wanted to visit Ayodhya and have darshan. Today, because of CM Yogi Adityanath, all the MLAs will be traveling to Ayodhya together,” Gupta remarked.
In contrast, BSP MLA Umashankar Singh emphasized the need to keep religious matters separate from politics. “The leaders of the Samajwadi Party are politicizing the issue, but we are not. Our party is secular, and we respect all religions… One should not politicize this,” Singh stated.
Reflecting on the significance of the visit, BJP MLA Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh expressed joy, saying, “The entire country is happy. We are getting this opportunity after centuries. This generation is very lucky.”
Meanwhile, thousands of devotees congregated at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, seeking solace in prayer and the divine darshan of Lord Ram. Long queues were observed as people patiently waited for their turn to catch a glimpse of the deity.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s historic temple took place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the rituals conducted by a group of priests. Acharya Satyendra Das serves as the Chief Priest of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, overseeing the sacred ceremonies.
