The minister, who was in the city for Army Day events, took the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness initiative and offered prayers after the act.
In a post on ‘X’, Rajnath Singh shared his experience and mentioned that Prime Minister Modi had urged all citizens to engage in temple cleaning activities. The SwachhTeerth campaign focuses on cleaning temples across the country and will continue until January 22, coinciding with the consecration ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram temple.
Reflecting on the significance of the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, where the idol of Ram Lalla will be installed, Rajnath Singh expressed joy for Lord Ram devotees and people across the world participating in the event. He highlighted the profound importance of the ceremony, emphasizing the collective joy it brings to the nation.
