Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma met with an accident late Sunday evening, suffering minor injuries. Kartikeya Sharma, MD of iTV Network was travelling from Kishanpura, Punjab to Delhi when a truck collided with his car. The MP from Haryana suffered minor injuries and has been rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma was in Kishanpura to celebrate the birth of Lord Parshurama, where he was the Chief Guest at an event to unveil an idol of Lord Parshurama. He was on his way back to Delhi, when he met with an accident in Bilaspur, Haryana. A truck is reported to have collided with his car, and the Member of Parliament escaped relatively unharmed with a few minor injuries. He has been taken to the Medanta Hospital for treatment, and is reportedly in stable condition.
