Ayodhya: As the consecration date approaches, replicas of the Ram temple attract attention.

December 8, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India: The newest thing in stores in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, are wooden replicas of the Ram Temple, which are drawing a lot of attention as the city gets ready for the much awaited “Pran Pratishtha,” or consecration of the shrine, on January 22, 2019. “The replica and the original Ram Temple are strikingly similar. The magnificent Ram temple is being built by thousands of people. Ayodhya resident Ajay Kumar said, “We can now give our guests (visitors) and VIPs miniature versions of the Ram Temple instead of the Taj Mahal, as we used to do. The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple will be the site of the enthronement of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2019, between noon and 12:45 pm, as decided by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust. Four thousand saints from every sect have been invited by the trust to the event.
Next year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present at the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Starting on January 16, 2019, one week prior to the main ceremony, Vedic rituals will be performed for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla, the infant Lord Ram, in Ayodhya.
On January 22, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Vedic priest from Varanasi, will conduct the principal ceremonies of Ram Lalla’s consecration. The Amrit Mahautsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22. Additionally, there will be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where thousands of devotees will receive food. In order to accommodate the thousands of devotees that are anticipated to arrive in the Uttar Pradesh temple town for the grand consecration of the Ram Temple, several tent cities are being built in Ayodhya. The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust says that between 10,000 and 15,000 people will be catered for. To ensure a seamless and spiritually enlightening experience for all attendees, local authorities are preparing for the expected spike in visitors around the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. They are in the process of putting enhanced security measures into place and making logistical arrangements.
