Reports of 9,099 people rescued from Kedarnath Yatra route has been confirmed by Uttarakhand Disaster Management and Rehabilitation secretary Vinod Kumar Suman.

According to the Secretary, the rescue operation of the passengers stranded in the Kedarnath route started from 31st July.
Till August 2, 7234 passengers were saved.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is personally monitoring the rescue operation. And work is being done on a large scale to evacuate the passengers safely.
