Sunita Kejriwal to Unveil AAP’s Election Promises for Haryana Amidst Political Turmoil

Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is set to launch “Kejriwal’s guarantees” for the state on Saturday. The announcement will take place during a town hall event in Panchkula, marking a significant step for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as it prepares to contest the polls.

The town hall is scheduled to begin at 1 PM at the Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula. According to Sushil Gupta, President of AAP’s Haryana unit, several prominent figures will attend the event. This includes Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak. Gupta confirmed that all key AAP leaders in Haryana will be present as well.

“Some of the notable figures will come to attend the event. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak will be a part of the event. All the AAP leaders in Haryana will attend the event,” Gupta asserted in an interview.

Gupta also revealed that the AAP is planning to contest all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. This marks a shift from their strategy in the recent Lok Sabha elections when the party had aligned with Congress as part of the INDIA bloc and contested only one seat in Haryana.

“The Aam Aadmi Party is preparing for 90 assembly seats, preparations are going on at every booth. The people of Haryana want Arvind Kejriwal…” Gupta said.

“Every person wants Haryana to get 24-hour electricity and water like Delhi and Punjab. Every person should get employment, and drug abuse and crime should be curbed. Haryana needs change…” he added that Haryana residents are looking for improvements such as 24-hour electricity and water, similar to what has been achieved in Delhi and Punjab. The AAP is also promising enhanced employment opportunities and measures to curb drug abuse and crime in the state.

Earlier, the party’s campaign for the Haryana assembly elections was initiated by Sandeep Pathak from Karnal on June 25. However, Sunita Kejriwal’s planned chairing of the event had to be adjusted due to Arvind Kejriwal’s ongoing judicial proceedings related to the Delhi excise policy case.

Currently, Haryana is governed by a coalition between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). The state assembly elections are anticipated to take place on or before October 2024, as the current assembly’s term concludes on November 3 this year.

Sunita Kejriwal‘s unveiling of “Kejriwal’s guarantees” is expected to be a pivotal moment in the election campaign, setting the tone for AAP’s vision and promises for Haryana’s future.
