Rahul Gandhi and and Tejashwi Yadav are all set to share the stage during a public meeting in Kaimur at Dhaneychha in the Durgawati block of Kaimur. In the afternoon, at 4 pm, the Yatra will transition to Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh. It will remain in Uttar Pradesh until the evening of February 25, with a two-day hiatus scheduled for February 22 and 23.

Earlier on Thursday, Yatra reached Bihar’s Aurangabad, Gandhi expressed his appreciation towards verdict of the nullifying electoral bonds taken by the Supreme Court. Additionally, he promised to conduct a financial survey across the country if his party forms the government after elections 2024.

The Nyay Yatra reached Bihar shortly after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who played a prominent role in the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, a coalition of opposition parties aimed at countering the BJP at the national level, exited the Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) and realigned with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress general secretary will join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi as it embarks upon Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening. She will join her brother in Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh after the yatra exits the state from Bihar. The East-West Manipur-Mumbai Yatra spans 6,700 kilometers across 15 states, with the goal of emphasizing the principle of “nyay” (justice) while engaging with citizens along the route.
