India is gearing up to host the G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9-10.

In a message to commuters, Delhi traffic police noted that bus and metro services will be available with certain restrictions during the mega summit. Yadav clarified, “Only New Delhi and NDMC have been designated as controlled zones.

Bus services and metro services will continue, but there will be disruptions at Pragati Maidan and Supreme Court metro stations.” Additionally, online delivery services for essential items will be permitted. However, popular food delivery services like Swiggy and Domino’s will not be allowed in the New Delhi area during the summit.

The senior official also recommended that the general public download the indigenous MapmyIndia app, which can assist commuters in finding alternative routes to reach their destinations. “It is advisable for people to utilize the MapmyIndia app, a domestic navigation application, to facilitate reaching their destinations,” Yadav added.

India assumed the G20 Presidency on December 1 of the preceding year, adopting the theme, ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future.’ World leaders are scheduled to convene in New Delhi for the G20 Summit.
