Ujjain Rape Horror: Police Detain 5 Individuals In Case, Girl Walked For 2.30 Hours After The Incident

The city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh has been shaken by a deeply distressing incident involving a 12-year-old girl who fell victim to a horrendous rape assault. The victim has now been identified as a resident of Satna, Madhya Pradesh, adding another layer of complexity to the case. Her father, a laborer in Satna, is connected to this shocking incident that has left the nation in shock.

The incident initially came to light when the minor girl was found in a semi-nude state, wandering the streets of Ujjain. This grim discovery unfolded in the Murli Pura colony on Badnagar Road, Ujjain, where the girl had roamed aimlessly for nearly 2.30 hours.

Although some concerned individuals attempted to communicate with her, the trauma had rendered her unable to convey her harrowing experience. Prompt action was taken after alerting the Mahakal police station through the Dial 100 emergency line, leading to her immediate rescue. Due to the grave condition of the victim, she was rushed to Charak Hospital.

Medical assessments have revealed that the minor girl had been subjected to sexual assault, enduring severe injuries to her private parts. Given the severity of her condition and the need for specialized treatment, she was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Indore. Doctors attending to her have noted that she remains in a state of shock, making communication difficult due to the trauma she has endured.

Superintendent Sachin Sharma, responsible for law and order in Ujjain, has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to expedite the inquiry. Additionally, footage from the area’s 400 CCTV cameras is currently under scrutiny, with visuals further corroborating the gravity of the situation. It has also been established that the victim is not a resident of Ujjain but hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, complicating the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding this harrowing incident.

In a significant twist in the incident, the victim has been identified as a resident of Satna, Madhya Pradesh. Her father, who works as a labourer in Satna, is now intricately linked to the unfolding tragedy. Superintendent Sachin Sharma has officially confirmed this new revelation, intensifying the search for the perpetrators responsible for this heinous crime. To assist in the investigation, law enforcement has apprehended three auto-rickshaw drivers and two other individuals connected to the case.

As the victim continues her recovery at a hospital in Indore, police is conducting an investigation, which is being closely monitored by Superintendent Sachin Sharma himself.

Furthermore, additional information reveals that the minor girl’s family had experienced a troubled past. Her mother had abandoned her during her childhood, leaving her father, who is partially handicapped, as the sole caregiver.

The girl’s mysterious disappearance from home led her grandfather to file a missing person report at the Jaitwara police station in Satna on the morning of September 24. In the 8th grade, she had left for school on that fateful morning and failed to return, raising concerns that ultimately led to this distressing revelation. To aid in the ongoing investigation, a dedicated team from the Satna police has been dispatched to Ujjain.
