Yogi Adityanath expressed his happiness at the meeting in a tweet from his official account on X, writing, “Had a fruitful meeting with Australia’s High Commissioner, Philip Green OAM, at my official residence in Lucknow today.

Enhancing bilateral trade, investment, education, and technology cooperation between Australia and Uttar Pradesh was the main topic of discussion.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to developing closer ties and looking into chances for sector-specific cooperation.
The significance of the meeting between the two leaders is increased by the historical connections and common values between Australia and India.

Remarkably, both countries came together at the Raisina Dialogue conference, where former prime minister Tony Abbott wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi luck in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections and referred to him as the “best Indian friend”.
Abbott’s comments also highlight the strong ties that exist between Australia and India, highlighting their enduring partnership and dedication to ongoing trade and diplomatic relations. He emphasized the dependability and tenacity of the economic ties while underscoring the stability of trade relations with India.

Abbott also stated that Australia would be delighted to work with Prime Minister Modi for many years to come.
“Australia and India have an extremely robust relationship. One of the best things about conducting business with India is that trade will not be abruptly stopped for arbitrary reasons, according to Abbott.
‘MILAN’ would also be a great platform to show more of the strong relationship between Australia and India.

The participating navies exchange ideas about how to improve maritime commerce safety and security for everyone’s growth and prosperity. Apart from creating pathways for friendship and fortifying bonds,
The recent participation of HMAS Warramunga, an Anzac-class frigate of the Royal Australian Navy, in the multilateral naval exercise ‘MILAN 2024′ on February 18 further cemented the maritime partnership between Australia and India.
The Australian warship’s arrival in Visakhapatnam is further evidence of the two nations’ close collaboration on maritime defense and security issues.
