In a disturbing turn of events, chilling details have surfaced in the double murder incident that shook Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities have disclosed how a barber, known to the victims’ family, intruded into their residence and perpetrated the heinous act, claiming the lives of two innocent children.
Reportedly, the suspect, identified as Sajid, operated a barber shop situated opposite the victims’ residence and had an acquaintance with their father, Vinod, according to the police. Seeking financial assistance, Sajid visited their home on Tuesday evening with the pretext of borrowing ₹5,000. However, Vinod was absent at the time. Seizing the opportunity while Vinod’s wife, Sangeeta, briefly left to prepare tea, Sajid launched a brutal assault on their three children.
The community was thrown into turmoil following the tragic incident, leading to an uproar that resulted in locals setting ablaze the barber’s shop.
According to accounts from the family, Sajid informed Sangeeta that his pregnant wife urgently required medical attention, prompting the request for monetary aid. Upon contacting her husband, Vinod instructed Sangeeta to accommodate Sajid’s request.
Exploiting the absence of adult supervision, Sajid lured Sangeeta’s eldest son, Aayush, upstairs under the pretext of inspecting his mother’s beauty parlour. Tragically, upon reaching the second floor, Sajid switched off the lights and viciously attacked Aayush with a knife.
The brutality of the scene escalated when Ahaan (6) stumbled upon the gruesome act, witnessing his brother’s assault. Sajid, in a frenzied state, proceeded to eliminate Ahaan and inflicted injuries on their brother, Piyush. Miraculously, Piyush managed to escape and conceal himself, while Aayush and Ahaan succumbed to the savage onslaught.
The victims’ family asserted that Sajid fled the scene in collaboration with his brother, Javed, who was stationed outside the premises on a motorcycle. Allegations have been leveled against both siblings regarding their involvement in the crime.
Following a pursuit, Sajid was apprehended in the vicinity but resisted arrest, resulting in a confrontation with law enforcement officers. Tragically, in the ensuing encounter, Sajid attempted to assault the police and was consequently neutralized. Regrettably, an inspector sustained injuries during the confrontation and is currently undergoing treatment at a medical facility.
While the whereabouts of Javed remains unknown, authorities have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against both brothers. Although the motive behind the barbaric act remains unclear, investigators speculate that it might stem from a feud between Sajid and Vinod.
