Samajwadi Party and Apna Dal were each in the lead for one seat in early trends of the byelections in the state of Uttar Pradesh as of Saturday as per the most recent data from the Election Commission.
Byelections for the assembly were held in the Uttar Pradesh districts of Suar and Chhanbey. The Samajwadi Party is in the lead in the Suar constituency, according to the ECI’s most recent trend, and Apana Dal is in the lead in the Chhanbey constituency.
According to the officials, counting of the votes begin at 8:00 am, and all essential preparations and arrangements made for the purpose were completed.
Both seats are up for election, with the ruling coalition’s Apna Dal (Sonelal) running.
