Yogi Adityanath Heads to Ayodhya for Cabinet Meeting

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has arrived in Ayodhya to preside over a special cabinet meeting in the revered city. Accompanied by his cabinet ministers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath traveled by bus to reach the Ramkatha Museum. Prior to the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister and his cabinet members offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi temple. Additionally, they performed the Parikrama of the temple.

Following this, the ministers will proceed to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex to offer prayers at the Shri Ramlala Virajman. This marks the first time the state’s executive body will convene in the holy city. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m. at the Ramkatha Museum, followed by a series of religious visits by the cabinet members. The museum has been adorned with grandeur, and posters of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Hanuman have been placed in the cabinet meeting hall. To ensure security, UP Police has deployed a significant force, including the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).

“We have implemented security arrangements for the visit of esteemed guests. We will strive to minimize the disruption to the daily routines of Ayodhya residents preparing for Diwali. Adequate police personnel have been deployed,” stated ADG Police, Lucknow Zone, Piyush Mordia. Nitish Kumar, District Magistrate Ayodhya, remarked, “Stringent security measures have been implemented in preparation for the cabinet meeting. All cabinet ministers will first offer darshan at Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman ji temples, followed by the cabinet meeting at the Ramkatha Museum.”

The decision to hold the cabinet meeting in Ayodhya coincides with the anniversaries of two significant events. On November 9, 1989, the temple’s first foundation stone was laid, and on November 9, 2019, the Supreme Court cleared the way for the temple’s construction. Apart from the religious aspects, the cabinet meeting is expected to focus on development initiatives and preparations for the upcoming Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya.
