PM Modi underscored his visit as a reunion with family, symbolizing the essence of their shared heritage and delivering the collective sentiment of Bharat’s pride in their accomplishments. The Prime Minister was greeted with chants of “Modi-Modi” as he commenced his address, expressing gratitude for the warm reception and emphasizing the creation of enduring memories reflective of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India). He acknowledged the overwhelming affection and support from the diaspora, attributing his recognition, including the UAE’s highest civilian award, not just to himself but to the millions of Indians represented by those present. Earlier in the day, PM Modi engaged in bilateral discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
