WHO IS THE ACCUSED IN MUMBAI HIT-AND-RUN CASE MIHIR SHAH?

The 24-year-old Mihir Shah is the son of Rajesh Shah, the deputy leader of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction).

Mihir studied till Class 10 and did not pursue education thereafter. 

He was helping his father with his construction and real estate business in Maharashtra.

Mihir Shah had visited a pub with four of his friends before the fatal crash, where the group had dinner and a few drink.

However, Mihir himself had only consumed Red Bull, as claimed by the pub owner.

During the incident, Mihir Shah was allegedly driving the luxury car and accompanied by one Rajrishi Bidawar, who is currently in police custody.

Mihir left his car in Bandra before fleeing in an auto-rickshaw. Rajrishi Bidawat also took an auto-rickshaw and came to Borivali after the accident.

The BMW was later found abandoned, According to police, Mihir left his car in Bandra before fleeing in an auto-rickshaw.

Initial probe suggests that Mihir went to his girlfriend's house before absconding. 

On 9th July, Mumbai Police had finally arrested accused Mihir Shah in the hit-and-run case.
