Outside the Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg, the Indian community welcomed him with vibrant drumbeats, underlining the warmth and excitement surrounding his visit.
The inaugural day of the summit featured the BRICS Business Forum Leaders’ Dialogue, during which PM Modi addressed the audience. He emphasized India’s prospective journey towards becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy, positioning itself as a key driver of global growth in the years ahead. His message highlighted the pivotal role of mutual trust and transparency, especially within the framework of the Global South.
