A 26-year-old British man has tragically lost his life after falling from a bridge in Spain while trying to capture content for social media. Macarena Muñoz, the city’s councillor for citizen safety, explained that the two individuals had traveled to the bridge specifically to “create content” for their social media platforms. “We have been able to find out that they had come to Talavera to climb the bridge and create content for social networks, which has resulted in this unfortunate and sad outcome,” Muñoz stated.

Councillor Muñoz emphasized the dangers associated with climbing the bridge, noting that it is “totally prohibited” and should “not be done under any circumstances.” She also mentioned that the council had consistently reiterated this warning on multiple occasions, underscoring the importance of adhering to safety regulations.
