Elon Musk Shares Keen Interest To Host Kamala Harris on ‘X’, After An Interview With Donald Trump

After posting two videos, each about two hours long, from interviews with former U.S. President Donald Trump, Elon Musk expressed interest in hosting Vice President Kamala Harris on X. He shared, “Happy to host Kamala on an 𝕏 Spaces too,” suggesting he might secure interviews with both Trump and Harris.

Musk’s recent controversy with Harris

Just two weeks ago, Musk, the owner of X and SpaceX, faced heavy criticism on social media for sharing a deepfake video of Vice President Harris. He reposted the video from a parody account without clarifying that it was AI-generated, violating his platform’s strict policy.

Last Friday, Musk shared a video on his X account that had been manipulated using AI to alter Harris’s voice and statements. The deepfake video falsely portrayed Harris as making negative comments about President Joe Biden and her own qualifications, calling herself “the ultimate diversity hire” without any real merits. However, the original, unedited video titled “We Choose Freedom” is available online and contains none of the derogatory remarks attributed to Harris.
