Billionaire Elon Musk recently responded to an old photograph shared by an X user, depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Musk’s children. The picture shows PM Modi shaking hands with two of Musk’s children, with a smiling Elon Musk also visible in the frame. Musk captioned the photo, “Damian, Kaiquot,” referring to the names of his children.
Damian and Kaiquot are among Elon Musk’s children with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Musk. The couple had twins, Vivian and Griffin, in 2004, followed by triplets, Kai, Damian, and Saxon, in 2006. In total, Elon Musk has 11 children: five with Justine Musk, three with musician Grimes, and three with Shivon Zilis.

In July 2022, Musk voiced his support for large families, stating, “Bravo to big families,” and expressed his desire to have as many children as he can spend time with and be a good father to. He also raised concerns about declining birth rates, tweeting, “A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces, by far.”
Elon Musk has consistently reiterated his worries about population decline, noting that many countries are already well below the “replacement rate” necessary to maintain population levels. He emphasized that the replacement rate is considered to be 2.1 children per woman and warned that the global average is expected to fall below this threshold soon.
