In a major development related to Ismail Haniyeh’s death, Iran claimed that Hamas chief was murdered utilizing a ‘short-range projectile’ at Tehran.

The projectile was fired outside his residence. Issuing a statement, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards blamed Israel for the incident. In addition, it also accused the US of supporting the country.

Further in their saturday statement, the guards emphasized that Haniyeh’s death would be retaliated. They also declared that Israel would be punished at the proper time, place & manner.

In the meantime, USA has recently decided to boost its military presence in the middle east and to counter threats from Iran, Hamas & Hezbollah, it plans to send extra fighter jets and naval warships to the region.

Issuing statement, US defense secretary Lloyd Austin announced that they have approved sending of additional navy cruisers & destroyers. As per the statement, they possess the ability to target ballistic missiles.
