Imran Khan alleges former Army Chief Gen Bajwa wanted to get him killed

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has made a big allegation against former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. He has allegedly said that Bajwa wanted to get him killed. After this wanted, Bajwa wanted to impose an emergency in the country. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) President Imran Khan made this shocking allegation in an interview given to a private news channel in Lahore.

Ever since Imran Khan came out of power in Pakistan, he has been continuously attacking the former army chief. Khan’s relations with Bajwa had strained since he was ousted from power through a no-confidence motion in April last year.

Khan has accused Bajwa earlier also. The former army chief is now a prime target of Khan, as he considers him the sole reason for all his failures in government. The ousted prime minister also alleges that the retired general toppled his government as part of a US conspiracy. Last month, Khan accused Bajwa of betraying his government, saying that he had made a big mistake in 2019 by extending the tenure of the then-army chief.

Khan, the Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician, is the only prime minister to have been ousted through a no-confidence motion in Parliament. Khan had alleged that it was because of his independent foreign policy on Russia, China and Afghanistan that a no-confidence motion was brought against his government as part of a US-led conspiracy. However, America denied these allegations.
