A group of local residents organized a demonstration in Tel Aviv on Thursday, appealing to the Israeli government to negotiate the release of hostages currently held by the terrorist group Hamas. Demonstrators emphasized the urgent need for the safe return of women, children, and other civilians who had been taken captive. They displayed placards and chanted slogans to underscore their demands.

Expressing her concerns, a protester in Tel Aviv spoke to her, stating, “The Israeli government must engage in dialogue with Hamas to ensure the release of women, children, and civilians who have been held hostage.” Another demonstrator emphasized the need for the government to take decisive action to secure the release of the kidnapped individuals, stressing that all possible efforts should be made to facilitate a prisoner exchange.

The protests in Tel Aviv come after the death toll in Israel has reached to 1,300 since the Hamas attack on October 7, with approximately 3,300 people sustaining injuries, including 28 in critical condition and 350 in serious condition.
