Reportedly, on Monday morning, Israel is said to have conducted airstrikes in the city of Damascus. These strikes allegedly resulted in the death of four Syrian soldiers and injuries to four others, as per information from Syrian media relayed by the Jerusalem Post. The Syrian capital’s air defense systems were activated in response to these attacks, and reports indicate that explosions were audible within the city.
Notably, the most recent attack on Syrian soil occurred approximately two and a half weeks prior, as reported by N12. During that incident, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly targeted seven locations in Damascus using missiles launched from the Golan Heights. Among the targets were military depots, a parking area for trucks, and an anti-aircraft battery.
This new Israeli strike is believed to have focused on military installations near the town of Al-Dimass. Sources from N12 suggest that these installations may include warehouses linked to the Hezbollah organization. However, further specifics are still anticipated as the situation develops.
