Israeli Army Reports Three Civilians Killed in Shooting Near Jordan Border Crossing

On Sunday morning, three Israeli civilians were fatally shot near the Allenby Crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, according to Israel’s army. The incident was described by police as a “shooting attack.”

Magen David Adom emergency services reported finding the victims—three men—lying unconscious with gunshot wounds. Despite resuscitation efforts by both Magen David Adom and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) medical team, the men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Israeli police confirmed that the assailant had been “neutralized,” as reported by Agence France-Presse. The Israeli army revealed that the shooter had approached the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in a truck, exited the vehicle, and opened fire, according to Reuters.
