US Vice President Kamala Harris confronted pro-Palestine protesters who interrupted her speech at a Detroit rally. Protesters in the crowd chanted, “Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide, we won’t vote for genocide,” as reported by a leading publication. Despite their attempts, the Detroit crowd responded with boos and chants of “Kamala,” effectively drowning out the dissenters.
Harris addressed the disruption, stating, “I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters, but I am speaking now. I am speaking now.” When the protesters continued, she added, “You know what, if you want Donald Trump to win then say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking.”
