A passenger plane operated by the Brazilian regional airline VOEPASS crashed in Vinhedo, São Paulo State, on Friday, carrying 62 people, including 58 passengers and 4 crew members. The aircraft, identified as Flight 2283-PS-VPB, was en route from Cascavel to Guarulhos Airport when the accident occurred.
Local media outlets reported the crash, which involved the aircraft plunging into a cluster of trees and erupting in a large plume of black smoke. According to the reports, there were no survivors from the plane crash.
