India’s MEA said to media on Thursday, that they do not know when will the Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who fled the country due to violent protests and political unrest will leave the country.
After she left her country, she came to India and her future supposed plans were to seek political asylum in UK, but there has been no news since.

Mrs. Hasina was evacuated in a military aircraft and flown to an IAF base in Uttar Pradesh.
Whereas on the other side, British Home Office told to Indian media that they do not allow people to travel to their country to seek asylum or temporary refuge.

On Wednesday night, Sajeeb Wazed, son of Mrs. Hasina, clarified to NDTV that his mother had not made any formal asylum requests in any country, including India. “The reports claiming she has requested asylum are false. She hasn’t made any requests, so the question of the UK or US not responding is baseless.”
