“Stop It Now”: Jill Biden Issues Firm Warning To POTUS Amidst Approval Of More Bombs For Israel

During a Ramadan gathering at the White House with members of the Muslim community on Tuesday night, US First Lady Jill Biden issued a firm warning to President Joe Biden amid ongoing criticism of his handling of the Gaza crisis.

The warning followed reports that the Biden administration had authorized the transfer of 1,000 500-pound bombs and over 1,000 small-diameter bombs to Israel, according to sources familiar with the matter cited by CNN.

As per The Mirror, Jill Biden addressed the issue during the dinner when a guest expressed frustration with the president’s support for Israel, alleging that his wife had refused to attend the meeting because of it. In response, President Biden acknowledged the pressure he faced, revealing that his wife, Jill, had also pressed him on the matter. A witness at the event noted Biden’s acknowledgment, emphasizing the surprising firmness of the First Lady’s stance on the issue.

Despite facing global backlash, the US has authorized the transfer of additional bombs to Israel

Despite facing global criticism, the Biden administration has given the green light for the transfer of more than 2,000 weapons, including MK82 bombs and small-diameter explosives, to Israel. This decision comes amid severe condemnation directed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following a recent raid on a humanitarian convoy in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of seven workers from the non-profit organization World Central Kitchen (WCK). Netanyahu acknowledged that the humanitarian workers had been unintentionally targeted.

However, a State Department official clarified that the approval for the weapons transfer was granted before the Israeli raid in Gaza. The announcement of the approval aligns with increasing demands for the Biden administration to begin restricting military assistance to Israel.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of more than 190 humanitarian workers, as reported by CNN.

A significant number of Muslim Americans are outraged by Biden’s support for Israel’s military actions in Gaza, including the provision of US arms. The conflict began on October 7, initiated by Hamas, leading to the deaths of 1,200 Israelis. Meanwhile, the casualties among Palestinians have surpassed 33,000.
