In a recent poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump holds a lead over Joe Biden in six out of the seven swing states. The survey, which was published on Wednesday, revealed that the expected GOP candidate had an advantage ranging from 2 to 8 percentage points among voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina.

The journal noted that these findings were consistent even in a scenario where other candidates were included alongside the US president on the ballot. As for the seventh state, Wisconsin, where Biden previously held a 3-point lead in a multi-candidate race, the two contenders were tied in a direct face-off, according to Reuters.

Furthermore, the poll findings revealed that a majority of respondents viewed Trump as more suitable for the presidential role due to his perceived better mental and physical health. In contrast to the 28 percent favorability rating for Biden, Trump received 48 percent.
The outlet further added that “the survey of 4,200 votes – 600 in each of the seven states – was conducted March 17th-24th and had a margin of error of plus or minus 1.5 percentage points for the full sample and 4 points for results in individual states.”
