US State Secretary Blinken to hold crucial meetings in Israel to press for a “humanitarian pause”

According to CNN, US State Secretary Antony Blinken will start meeting with important Israeli government figures on Wednesday in an effort to push for a “humanitarian pause” as domestic and international pressure on the US to put an end to the Gaza conflict grows. The latest news that the terrorist organization Hamas has submitted a response to a plan aimed at securing the release of the terrorist group’s remaining hostages and a long-term halt to hostilities in Gaza follows the meeting.
