One Nation One Election Bill Live Updates: The government is set to present the “One Nation, One Election” bill in the Lok Sabha today. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal is expected to introduce two key pieces of legislation: the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024, and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill.
Both the BJP and Congress have issued a three-line whip, directing all their Lok Sabha MPs to be present. Additionally, Congress MPs in the Lok Sabha are scheduled to gather at 10:30 AM at the Central Parliamentary Party (CPP) office to discuss the implications of the “One Nation, One Election” proposal.
